Shell Island Resort - All Oceanfront Suites features indoor and outdoor pools, an on-site restaurant, and non-smoking suites with a kitchenette. The resort is 16 km from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Guests will enjoy the convenience of direct beach access. An oceanfront terrace and a living room with a sofa bed are provided in each suite at Shell Island Resort. Suites feature 2 flat-screen TVs, a Blu Ray player, and toiletries from Bath & Body Works. Guests can enjoy a workout at the fitness centre or use the business centre at Shell Island Resort - All Oceanfront Suites. A children's playground and a sand volleyball court are also available. A gift and convenience shop is on-site for guests to purchase food to cook in their suites. Wilmington city centre is about 20 minutes' drive away.

Spectacular ocean views from your room!
"My mom and I stayed at shell island resort from 5/26 through 5/29/21. You can’t beat the location of this resort. It is the last hotel on the north end of a beautiful beach loaded with shells.

Not ADA compliant with service animals
"If you have a service animal you are not welcome here. The staff is not educate on friendly about service animals. I hope of i was visually disabled they would behave differently. Also, the place is a dump."

Weekend Getaway
"The hotel was situated excellently at the end of the beach which made for a nice beach walk without passing through other properties. My wife and I stayed in a very spacious room on the 9th floor with a wonderful view.
